The Jacobs Ladder Inn is proud to offer accommodation for all budgets, situated upstairs from the pub. Newly refurnished, clean and comfortable we have 2 bunk rooms and 4 private double and twin rooms. Located in the heart of Falmouth we are pleased to offer complete comfort and facilities at very reasonable rates! We offer individual beds up to groups wishing to book the whole place.

The Jacobs Ladder is very well known to locals and travellers as a hub of local musical talent, as well as bands and acts from a far.

We have two large projector screens to host live sporting events. We show Premier league and international football, international rugby and any special events taking place or ones you want to see.

The Pub
The Jacobs Ladder Inn has always had a strong live music connection, with music acts 5 nights a week. We show live sport, have pool and darts and also offer our popular burger and pizza menu. On Sundays don't miss our famous Sunday roasts served from noon.
Originally called The Summerhill Hotel, the inn now occupies two old dwellings. In the old days on one side was the hotel and on the other, now the games room, was a bakery. The hotel changed its name in the 1980s to celebrate the famed Jacobs Ladder steps which were built by the local businessman Jacob Hamblen. He used to have property at the top of Summer Hill and had businesses at the bottom. So he erected the ladder in the 1790s to make his life easier. In 1840 111 granite steps were added which are still here today.

Directions
The Jacobs Ladder Inn is in the heart of Falmouth situated at the top of the famed Jacobs Ladder steps. 5 minutes walk from the Falmouth town bus stop and 15 minute walk from the Falmouth Town train station. If driving or cycling follow the signs for the Falmouth car parks and take a left at the rugby club roundabout on to Killigrew Street. Then take a right on to Trelawney Road. Take the first left on to Wellington Terrace and follow the street towards the end bearing left. You will see the Jacobs Ladder Inn on the right.
